What's on my mind...
Thanks, OUTtv, for this amazing opportunity! And thanks to everyone for voting and participating. So many great pitches. I look forward to seeing Creo come to life and which films get selected in Round 2. Keep pitching everyone!

About me...
An award-winning writer, Gina Daggett is a columnist and Contributing Editor for Curve, the best-selling lesbian magazine in the world. Daggett pens half of Lipstick & Dipstick--the femme half. Her penname is Lipstick.
"'Til Death Do Us Toby" is her first short film. For the last year, Daggett has been producing "The Lipstick & Dipstick Show" on Curve Magazine's website.
Daggett's first novel, "Jukebox," is forthcoming with Bella Books in the Fall of 2010. As a work in progress, it won a POWER UP Filmmaker's Fund grant in 2004.
If she's not pounding the keys of her computer, she's pounding the pavement with her running shoes, looking for sea glass or playing in Whistler with her partner.

Just posted this in my comments, but thought I'd throw it up here, too: Thanks again for such amazing comments and support. I'm overwhelmed and so inspired. Your positive and constructive vibes have fueled even more ideas about where I can take this short film.
I thought I'd share this link here, too, as you aspiring filmmakers will appreciate it (especially women). It's a great interview with Katherine Bigelow, who took home the Oscar this year for Best Director:

Cheers!
